I’m not from North Carolina. But if I had to pick a second home-state, NC might be it.

My mother was born and raised there until 16, and went to college there. Not only that but her mother’s family was in NC before the Revolutionary war. and I have several cousins in different NC towns.

My father and I both went to college there. I have a deep loyalty.
